Alfie LaDue
Alfie LaDue is originally from Chateaugay, New York where he played four years of varsity soccer for Chateaugay Central. During that time, he earned a 2nd team all star, 1st team all star. His senior year, he was voted MVP as a goalie/ forward. After his high school graduation in 1992, he played in Europe for the summer as a member of the US U19 team. He then played two years on Clinton Community College team, earning MVP honors in his second year. His resume includes 25 years of coaching youth, both in Mooers and in Plattsburgh. He has been coaching the boys at Plattsburgh High School for seven years, one year at the Modified level and six at the JV level. During this time, he has been assisting with the Varsity program as well. He began coaching PFC seven years ago when his current group was a second year GU10 team. He received his Grassroots Coaching Certification during this time. Alfie focuses on the growth of his players, both on and off the field. From the teaching of fundamentals to the more advanced play, he loves every aspect of it. And he hopes that the love he has for it transfers to the children that play for him.
