Coach Profile

A Saranac, New York native, Nora Canning has played at a variety of levels throughout her career. Her first introduction to competitive soccer was with PFC U12. This opportunity allowed her to grow and learn from the strongest coaches in the area. These coaches ignited a lifelong passion for the sport. Nora continued her playing career at Saranac High School, where she was a multi-time all-conference player. She participated in the New York State ODP, where she traveled with the regional team and attended multiple camps. Her PFC career ended by captaining the U19 squad to a State Cup runner-up finish and a berth in the regional tournament. Nora continued her playing career at the NCAA Division III, Potsdam Bears. Nora’s coaching philosophy will allow her team to grow in a fun and challenging environment that encourages individual and team development. She will bring energy, passion, excitement, and organization to all training sessions, games, and tournaments. Nora has a degree in Early Childhood/Childhood Education and will begin her teaching career at Chazy Elementary School this fall. In her free time, Nora enjoys getting on the pitch herself and spending time with her friends and family.
